Mexican De la Rosa Candy

De la Rosa candy from Mexico: Pulparindo tamarind candy with salt and chile, Pulparindots, Pulparindo Splash, Rim Dip paste for rimming glasses, peanut mazapan and marshmallows.

What is Pulparindo candy?

Pulparindo is a bar of tamarind pulp with salt, sugar and chile, made by De la Rosa: salty, sour, sweet and spicy all at once. Here you'll find Pulparindo original, mango, Extra Picante y Salado (extra hot and salty), sugar-free and Mini Pulparindo.

There are also Pulparindots, little balls of spicy tamarind pulp, plain or with a mango or watermelon center; Pulparindo Splash, a liquid version you squeeze straight into your mouth; and Pulparindo Rim Dip in tamarind or mango, a paste for rimming micheladas and mangonadas.

What is De la Rosa mazapan?

It's Mexico's peanut mazapan: ground peanuts and sugar pressed into a disk that crumbles the moment you bite it. It was first sold as Conitas, until people started calling it mazapán de la rosa after the flower on the logo.

You'll find it in Original, Mini, Gigante, the 30-piece box and the sugar-free version with Splenda. De la Rosa also makes marshmallows: the small ones and Malvabony, with a chocolate-flavored coating.
